The latest version of 3DiVi Image API 1.2.0 streamlines the installation and setup process, and now also offers support for Amazon AWS with autoscaling capabilities.
Amazon AWS Support with Auto-Scaling Capabilities
Support for Amazon AWS (EKS) has been added. This enables flexible scaling of ImageAPI services in the Amazon cloud environment in automatic mode, reduces the need for staff intervention, ensures efficient use of hardware resources, and lowers the cost of implementing solutions that experience variable (rather than constant) load from end customers or services.
Enhanced Features
This new version of Image API includes support for Horizontal Pod Autoscaler, nodeSelector, and ingress proxy for all image-api deployments.
The Horizontal Pod Autoscaler adapts to the load, based on server metrics, to ensure a more efficient utilization of hardware resources.
The nodeSelector, based on application restriction settings in the Kubernetes cluster, improves stability by preventing accidental server builds with inappropriate parameters.
The ingress proxy allows bypassing the Image API frontend when integrating the service into third-party products and solutions, thereby expanding the basic capabilities of the Omni Platform.
Improvements have also been made to the Quality-Liveness-Anti-Spoofing module of the face-detector-liveness-estimator service. It now operates according to a unified standard.
