3DiVi company raised $1.1 million to bring superior gesture recognition to smart TVs

3DiVi Company has become one of the first innovative technological projects to receive $1.1 million from Russia's Skolkovo foundation and BAUR (Ural association of business-angels) to create next generation computer vision hardware and software for consumer electronic goods and industrial applications.
3DiVi is designing a prototype of HD depth sensor, middleware for gesture recognition and real-time motion tracking of the whole body (including skeleton, head direction and fingers) with high selectivity and low latency. The company is also developing a 3D modeling technology which will allow users to create 3D avatars for virtual shopping and to use 3D face recognition instead of passwords. Integrated into Smart TV or Smart Home these technology can make communication with electronic devices even more convenient and user friendly.
The company has two R&D centers in the Ural region of Russia and a representative office in Sunnyvale, CA. Currently it actively pursues business opportunities/partnerships for hardware and software manufactures, investors and supply chain distributors, science, research and development partnerships.
